The first Metro tram to carry the new Network West Midlands livery made its long-awaited debut recently - just in time for the summer!
Travel Midland Metro, in partnership with Centro PTA, refurbished Tram 09 with a number of changes both inside and out.

The most striking change is the new tram livery which features telemagenta at the base with a modern silver colour covering the majority of the vehicle.
Inside Tram 09 customers will benefit from re-upholstered seating and yet another tram now fitted with the latest digital CCTV system for security and monitoring purposes.

Fred Roberts, General Manager at Travel Midland Metro said; "Tram 09 looks fantastic in its new livery and we're looking forward to the next stage of the programme which will see yet more of the fleet repainted to carry the new Network West Midlands branding."
